Founded in 2006, the
Santa Ana Suzuki Strings
is the Suzuki String program at the Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center. We offer Suzuki Violin Instruction for children 3 years of age and up. Children and their parents attend weekly classes together. In addition they participate in a Group Class on Saturday afternoon with students from their sister program, the Talent Education Center: Suzuki Violin.
SASS was created to provide Suzuki Violin instruction for all of the children in the Orange County, CA community because its founders believed that every child can learn through the arts. Like Dr. Suzuki we believe that every child can benefit from the study of music and be lifted to their full potential. This blog is the story of the birth and development of the Suzuki Violin program at OCCTAC.
