About SASS

Founded in 2006, the

Santa Ana Suzuki Strings

is the Suzuki String program at the Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center.   We offer Suzuki Violin Instruction for children  3 years of age and up.    Children and their parents attend weekly classes together.   In addition they participate in a Group Class on Saturday  afternoon with students from their sister program, the Talent Education Center: Suzuki Violin.

SASS was created to provide Suzuki Violin instruction for all of the children in the Orange County, CA community because its founders believed that every child can learn through the arts.  Like Dr. Suzuki we believe that every child can benefit from the study of music and be lifted to their full potential.  This blog is the story of the birth and development of the Suzuki Violin program at OCCTAC.   We invite you to read about SASS and get to know the people who make it possible as well as those who participate and benefit from its activities.

Learn how this wonderful program began and how you can participate as a student, parent, volunteer or sponsor.  Discover the background of SASS on its pages above.

If you are interested in the Suzuki Violin  classes offered in the After School Arts program at OCCTAC please check out their site directly www.occtac.org before calling them at 714 547-5468.

Founded in 2006 our program is growing  and things are happening quickly.
